1. Avoid taking hot showers.

Dr. Shah also suggests not taking long showers to keep the skin moisturized.
2. Immediately Apply Body Lotion After Shower
Immediately use moisturizer 5 minutes after bathing. This method will make the use of moisturizer or lotion more effective.

3. Use a moisturizer that contains Ceramides.
Use a moisturizer that contains ceramides to strengthen the skin barrier, so that your skin does not easily have problems.
Dr. Shah recommends the use of a moisturizer with ceramides 1, 3, and 6, which have been proven to be good for strengthening the skin barrier. All three can be written differently in skincare products. Ceramides 1 is commonly written as ceramides EOP. Ceramides 3 is commonly written as ceramides NP. Meanwhile, ceramides 6 is written as ceramides AP.
4. Choose Fragrance-Free Moisturizer
It is recommended to use a moisturizer or fragrance-free lotion for safer use on certain skin conditions, such as sensitivity or a history of atopic dermatitis or eczema. Usually, these conditions should also be supported by a fragrance-free cleanser.
