If you want to make a round face look more slender with cheek contour, try the 'V contour' trick from Makeup Artist (MUA) with the Instagram account @makeup.by.asta below.
1. Choose Contour Color
"Before trying the trick, make sure the selected contour color matches your skin tone. Dream friends can also try using bronzer as a contour by mixing it with foundation or complexion according to the skin tone."
2. Trying the 'V Contour' Trick
"To try this trick, Sahabat Dream needs to determine the application area of the contour first. You can do it with your finger as shown in the picture."
Next, apply contour above the fingers and create a diagonal line towards the temples until it forms a 'V' shape. This aims to define the area around the eyes for a more defined look.
3. Mix the Contour
Blend and smooth out the contour that has been applied with a brush until the color blends with the complexion.
Blend upwards on the face so that the contour color blends with the blush and highlighter that will be used. This method will also make the contour result look more natural. If the contour color is too sharp, Sahabat Dream can use leftover foundation or compact powder on top of it to conceal the application.
Don't forget to use powder contour after cream contour if you want the result to last longer and not easily oxidize. Also make sure the color of both products is truly similar or the powder contour is slightly lighter to maintain a natural result.
