Hairdresser Showcases Rp20 Million Hair Scissors

Who would have thought that the scissors used by professional hairdressers could cost tens of millions? Rey Nathanael, a professional hairdresser at W2 Salon in Menteng, Central Jakarta, showcased his collection of hair scissors on his Instagram account @rey_nathanael13.

It turns out that the cheapest hair scissors he owns are priced at Rp7 million and the most expensive one is Rp20 million. The shapes and variations are indeed different, and each pair of scissors has its advantages.

The first pair of hair scissors he bought is the Hikari 571 Blaze variant priced at Rp8 million. Rey bought it while in Japan.

"I used this when I was still learning," Rey said.

Another pair of scissors is the Hikari B Dry 6.0 priced at Rp16 million. There are also Hikari B Dry and Evo variants priced at Rp14.5 million. The cheapest hair scissors he owns are from Taiwan, namely the Lukaii Taiji Curve worth Rp7 million.

Curious about the most expensive scissors? According to Rey, the series he has is the Hikari Sev Cosmos priced at Rp20 million.

"This is my newest scissors, the sultan scissors worth twenty million," Rey said in the video.
