Prevent Cakey Makeup with the 'Maturing' Process of Foundation

Dream - There are several reasons why makeup becomes cakey and easily smudged, one of which is due to wet or immature foundation being overlaid with other makeup products.

Makeup Artist (MUA) @zonamakeupinstyle reveals that immature foundation can cause makeup to easily smudge, crumble, appear ashy or grayish, look cakey, and loose powder does not blend well with base makeup.

Friends of Dream can use some tricks from the following account owner to make the foundation mature faster.

1. Applying Foundation with Hands

The warm temperature of the hands makes the foundation adhere more easily to the skin when applied. Apply by tapping the fingers all over the face until the foundation is even.

2. Using Used Sponges

Use used sponges or pat them on the foundation to even out the makeup. Clean the remaining foundation on the sponge using a tissue first.

Gently press the sponge when wrapped in tissue to absorb the remaining product, then use it to even out the foundation. Fan the face while applying foundation with a sponge to make the makeup mature faster.

Flawless with Long-Lasting Makeup as a Bridesmaid

Dream - The makeup for bridesmaids is just as flawless as the bride's, but the colors are softer and less striking.
