Client Requests Bridal Makeup for Graduation, Results Like Barbie
"Feels like being Barbie," says netizen.
Dream - The content and claims stated on cosmetic product packaging serve as a guide when choosing products according to individual needs. Each product provides different effects, so the claims and effects may vary for each person.
Although the effects may differ, at least the content in cosmetic products should match the label on the packaging. Unfortunately, not all products state claims that match their content.
This was revealed by the TikTok account @cicikoko_review, which often reviews various types of skincare. The account owner conducted laboratory tests on the SPF content of various local and international sunscreen brands sold in the market.

The results left the account owner and internet users astonished. The SPF content of various skincare brands can be higher or much lower than the claims on the packaging.
In the beginning of the video, the account owner showed the laboratory test results with the brand names and manufacturers' names covered with a marker. The account owner only displayed the SPF claims on the packaging and the test results.

The laboratory test displayed a skincare brand with an SPF 50 claim, but the test result showed only SPF 2. "Why is it only 2?" asked the account owner.
There are also sunscreens that claim to have SPF 50, but their test results show SPF 38, 18, and 6.

On the other hand, there are also sunscreens with SPF 50 claims that have test results of SPF 50, 51, and even 66. The account owner also revealed several local brands that claim SPF 50 but have test results exceeding their claims.

According to the account owner, the Indonesian Food and Drug Administration (BPOM) cannot be blamed for excessive skincare claims on sunscreens because the tested products from manufacturers are likely to be samples. The samples provided to BPOM may not be the same as the products sold in the market.

The account owner also advised followers not to criticize content creators who review various skincare products with excessive claims.
This is because content creators are only responsible for reviewing without conducting detailed tests on the content. In the end of the video, the account owner hopes that sunscreens with excessive claims can be reformulated to meet consumer expectations.
This content has received numerous responses on various platforms. Many internet users speculate that certain brands overclaim their SPF because they have a very lightweight texture compared to similar SPF products.
"Curious about the SPF 2," said @naaufaald.
"Focus on the 30g bottle," commented @janjigakproprot__ok.
"Isn't the owner nervous?" said @nuzululf96.
"Oh, poor brands that are suspected, but hopefully those who feel responsible can improve. The important thing is to always use sunscreen, just use the ones you trust," wrote @devmesha.
@cicikoko_review THE LAB TEST RESULTS ARE OUT ‼️‼️ We are honestly shocked and surprised after finding out that what we thought is actually in line with these Lab Test Results.. 🫢 .But we're really sorry… maybe some of you are disappointed because we can't provide complete information… but one thing you need to know, after consulting with several parties, it is recommended that we should not disclose certain confidential information. 😭 Even though we know you must be really curious 🙏🏻😢 .But don't be hasty and think negatively about certain parties first.. it could lead to chaos. Thanks to those who have supported us… in the future, we will test other brands and see you guys in the next video ✌🏻Bye…
