Dream - The feeling of happiness always radiates, welcoming the arrival of the wedding day. Because on that day, the bride can be styled with her dream makeup and chosen outfit. However, the process of applying makeup and wearing the outfit is not always comfortable.
Apart from wearing a sometimes heavy head accessory, some brides also have to shave the front part of their hair to create "paes". This is experienced by the bride in the video of the Makeup Artist (MUA) who owns the Instagram account @alkenwedding.
In the video, the bride's hair was rearranged by the MUA and hair stylist. The paes (traditional Javanese hair ornament) still appeared dark black on the forehead area. Meanwhile, the client's hair looked messy due to being disassembled. More than two people tried to rearrange the bride's hair with the Solo Putri paes to create an international-style hairdo.
After the boiled hair has softened, the paes on the bride's forehead is removed so that it can be re-styled. The shaved marks on the hair due to paes are very visible.
When the forehead area is successfully cleared of pimples, the MUA and team reapply foundation and other makeup products evenly using a sponge. Meanwhile, the hair stylist combs and styles the hair.
"When the makeup on the forehead area looks neat and blends with the makeup on other parts of the face, the hair stylist slowly styles the bride's hair. The bride's hair also looks very healthy and easy to manage."
A few moments later, the bride's appearance looked perfect with an all-pink makeup and a low bun hairstyle. Her makeup still looked flawless with a matte base, pink blush, brown eyeshadow, black wing liner, contact lenses, thick eyebrows, false eyelashes, contour, highlighter, and pink ombre lips.
