Dream - PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB), officially handed over the eCanter electric truck to its first buyer, PT Yusen Logistic Indonesia, on Thursday, July 18, 2024. This handover took place at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show 2024 (GIIAS) event at ICE BSD, Tangerang. Before launching the eCanter in Indonesia, Mitsubishi Fuso went through various stages. Starting from trials with 10 major companies in Indonesia, intensive socialization, and finally, official sales and delivery of vehicles to consumers.
Last year, PT Yusen Logistic Indonesia became one of the companies in the eCanter trial. It is said to be satisfying, PT Yusen Logistic Indonesia finally decided to adopt the electric truck eCanter to strengthen its fleet.
The partnership between KTB and PT. Yusen Logistic Indonesia has been established since 2011. Canter and Fighter X units are operated for logistic activities in their business until now.

This electric truck is equipped with an M-sized battery with a capacity of 83kWh, capable of traveling up to 140 km with a GVW of 6 tons. Therefore, the eCanter is very suitable for logistics businesses with operations within the city. Meanwhile, President Director of PT. Yusen Logistic Indonesia, Tetsuya Aoyama, said that the purchase is based on the performance of the eCanter. Especially the excellent battery and equipped with a 6-year warranty.
"We will operate this eCanter in Jabodetabek up to Karawang. Our hope is to reduce CO2 emissions by around 10 tons in one year. Moving forward, we will continue to discuss CO2 emission reduction with our customers, and we plan to gradually increase the number of eCanters according to demand."
He said.
Interestingly, Mitsubishi Fuso also provides full assistance to PT Yusen Logistic Indonesia in the form of special training for eCanter drivers and mechanics. This is done to ensure that consumers have a comfortable and safe driving experience.
In addition, Mitsubishi Fuso is also committed to providing the best after-sales service for eCanter customers. Among them are purchase guarantees, free service, and financing facilities with the Operating Lease (OPL) scheme, as part of the Customer's First strategy and policy to ensure customer satisfaction.
