"Dream - A plane belonging to Japan Airlines caught fire at Haneda Airport, Tokyo after colliding with a Japanese Coast Guard aircraft on the runway on Tuesday, January 2, 2023. "Fortunately, all 379 crew members and passengers of the Japan Airlines flight were successfully evacuated in safe condition. "The airline stated that all 379 passengers and crew have been safely evacuated," wrote Reuters as quoted by Dream, Wednesday, January 3, 2024."
"However, 5 out of 6 crew members on the Japanese Coast Guard aircraft died in the incident. Japanese Minister of Transport Tetsuo Saito confirmed the deaths of the 5 crew members and stated that the aircraft's captain managed to survive."
