Dream - A young man's confession on social media has become the center of attention after claiming to have a lifetime free access to Garuda Indonesia flights. This facility was obtained because he was born during a flight with the airline.
The President Director of PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk, Irfan Setiaputra, stated that they will first verify the information. "We are currently checking," said Irfan, as quoted by Liputan6.com on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.
Irfan has not provided further information regarding the viral claim. He has also not responded when asked about the plan to meet the viral young person.
"Previously, a man named Muhammad John Garuda Putra claimed to have received a lifetime free airline ticket from Garuda Indonesia. The name Garuda in the 19-year-old young man from Ponorogo is said to have a unique and historical story."
On December 13, 2005, his mother was on an air journey using Garuda Indonesia airline. At that time, she was pregnant with John. Unexpectedly, the mother felt contractions and eventually gave birth to John on the plane. Although it was not yet time for him to be born, John was born prematurely during the flight. John uploaded this story on his personal TikTok account, @mjohngaruda.
"Rating one of life's experiences, 100.000.000/100 born on a Garuda plane in a premature condition and can get the reward of flying to anywhere for free without spending a penny. And can bear a prestigious name like Garuda,""
write John in his post.
In the shared photo, a tiny baby can be seen being carried by a flight attendant wearing a light blue batik uniform inside the airplane. The unique story of John's birth went viral in the media in 2005 and is now resurfacing thanks to his upload on TikTok.
Born on a plane turned out to bring good luck for Muhammad John Garuda Putra. Thanks to this unique incident, John is claimed to be able to enjoy free flights for a lifetime wherever he goes.
"Although the ticket cannot be used indiscriminately because there are monthly usage restrictions, John still feels that this reward is very beneficial. Unfortunately, John did not specify the restrictions. "Is the ticket still free until now?" asked a netizen. "Even until I die, it's still free, bro," answered John."
