Registration for the Dream Inspiring Women (DIW) 2024 hijaber selection event at the Dream Day Ramadan Festival (DDRF) 2024 is now officially open. The chosen DIW will receive the main prize that many Muslim women dream of, which is to go to the Holy Land to perform Umrah. You just need to bring yourself because the prize is given for free.

"Dream Inspiring Women, or popularly known as DIW, always serves as a motivation for Indonesian hijabers to stay active and expand their knowledge about its activities. Throughout the selection process, applicants will participate in a series of challenges organized by the committee in order to proceed to the next round. The winner will have the opportunity to receive a special prize, which is a free Umrah trip. Following the success of the grand DIW event held at Exhibition Hall A, Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on April 9, 2023, this year, DIW 2024 will be held in Kota Kasablanka, Jakarta."

During the DIW 2024 series, participants are required to attend the activities that have been prepared by the committee until the final day arrives, which is Sunday, March 24, 2024. Still called Dream Girls, at that time in 2015, Dream Girls successfully attracted the attention of hijabers throughout Indonesia. Some participants of Dream Girls 2015 even came from outside Jakarta and were willing to come to the capital city to become champions and win a free umrah trip. Some participants from outside the city came from Medan, Aceh, and even Gorontalo.

Changing the name of the annual event does not mean changing the overall concept that was formed from the beginning. In the first year of the name change, Dream Girls became Dream Inspiring Women and was held at Summarecon Mall Bekasi as the final venue for these inspirational hijabers to meet and compete for a free umrah prize. If in previous years the umrah prize for the champion amounted to two, starting this year the special grand prize is specifically designated for the first champion only.

Together with the grand event of Dream.co.id, Dream Day 2019, the Dream Inspiring Women 2019 event successfully brought 130 finalists to Kota Kasablanka to participate in a series of organized events. Starting from inspirational talk shows to beauty workshops, the finalists were hesitant to join and share their joy. This year, the name Ratu Isyell Nurazara from Jakarta successfully became the champion and won a free umrah trip as the grand prize.

Completing two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Dream Inspiring Women 2022 event was held online. Yes, from auditions to the final, everything was done virtually. Nevertheless, the spirit of the participants from all over Indonesia remains high. In that year, participants from Sulawesi and Sumatra also managed to become 50 finalists. They had the opportunity to participate in the final online with the judges, including Alya Rohali, Puteri Indonesia 1996, who served as a guest judge.

First held offline after the COVID-19 pandemic, finally the excitement of DIW can be felt directly. All grand finalists can meet face to face and experience the sensation of standing on stage and face to face with the judges who determine their fate in competing for the main champion.
