Dream - Indosiar television station is once again airing popular Mandarin series through its new program, Mega Series Action Asia. After the success of the Mandarin series Heroes, Mega Series Action Asia has chosen The Shaolin series to be aired for the first time on television screens or Sahabat Dream devices.
This series tells the story of a young Shaolin martial arts expert named Tan Zong, portrayed by Yuen Biao, who is determined to protect the temple and save Li Shimin, the future emperor of the Tang Dynasty. Directed by Zhu Yanping and starring Yuen Biao alongside Jimmy Lin, and Yu Sheng will also appear in the series, which has 46 episodes with many breathtaking martial arts scenes.
Synopsis The Shaolin Tan Zong is a skilled martial artist. Behind his abilities, he is also loving and kind-hearted. He is a leader among the monks and always ready to defend those in need. When the warlord Wang Shichong (Jimmy Lin) attacks the Shaolin Temple, Tan Zong must use all his skills to protect his home.
"He is assisted by his friends and fellow monks. However, they are outnumbered and outgunned. The infamous ruthless warlord's troops are determined to never stop destroying the Shaolin Temple. Tan Zong and his friends must fight for their lives and the future of the Shaolin Temple."
The Mandarin series The Shaolin is scheduled to premiere in early December, but due to the overwhelming enthusiasm, the airing has been advanced to Monday, November 27, 2023, starting at 22.00 WIB.
