Dream - Specifications for the iPhone 16 series, which will be launched by Apple in September 2024, have once again been leaked. This time, the specifications for the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are said to have the thinnest bezels or frames around the screen in the world.
This was revealed by leaker Setsuna Digital on social media (medsos) Weibo. This leaker revealed that the iPhone 16 Pro series will come with a bezel measuring 1.2mm.
Meanwhile, for the iPhone 16 Pro Max, it will appear with a bezel size of 1.15mm. This bezel size is thinner compared to the iPhone 15 Pro, which has a size of 1.71mm, and the iPhone 14 Pro with a bezel of 2.15mm.
Bezel of this new Apple iPhone is also thinner than the 1.52mm-sized Galaxy S24.
According to Phone Arena from Liputan6.com, Apple is also rumored to use Border Reduction Structure (BRS) technology to make the bezel on the new Apple phone thinner.
It is alleged that this technology will make the top, left, right, and bottom bezels slimmer than the current iPhone series on the market. In addition to enhancing the appearance of the phone, these thin bezels also allow Apple to increase the screen size on the Pro models without a proportional increase in dimensions.
Other leaks about the iPhone have also been revealed. Such as a larger screen, improved zoom lens, action button, and the possibility of a new series of AI features. According to CNET, certain iPhone 16 models are ready to adopt innovative screen technology. Screen analyst Ross Young mentioned that the iPhone 16 will have a size of 6.3 inches for the iPhone 16 Pro and 6.9 inches for the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
The rumor was later confirmed by Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, who stated that the iPhone 16 Pro model could increase by "a few tenths of an inch diagonally." While the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus models are believed to continue using the current sizes of 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches. The rumored screen sizes for the iPhone 16 are as follows: - iPhone 16: 6.1 inches. - iPhone 16 Plus: 6.7 inches. - iPhone 16 Pro: 6.3 inches. - iPhone 16 Pro Max: 6.9 inches.
