New Yaris Appears, What Has Changed?

Dream - PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) officially introduced the Toyota New Yaris 2023 model to customers on (May 10, 2023) and has undergone improvement in the exterior and interior sectors. 

The previously agile and exciting Toyota New Yaris has now transformed into a more sporty version, suitable for those who are young at heart and want to stand out. 

Marketing Director of TAM, Anton Jimmi Suwandy, mentioned that Toyota is committed to providing mobility solutions that can offer a different driving experience, as well as safety and comfort. 

This is accompanied by Toyota's commitment to provide Mobility for All, where TAM provides various vehicle options in every market segment and various technology choices. 

“As with the Toyota New Yaris 2023, which we hope can meet the needs of customers, especially those who are young at heart and want to stand out with an agile, fun to drive hatchback with a much more sporty appearance,” said Anton in an official statement on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. 

More Sporty Impression

The improvement continues the existence of the hatchback which has now entered its 17th year and has sold more than 10 million units globally. The Toyota New Yaris car first appeared in Indonesia in 2006, and by March 2023, a total of more than 211 thousand units have been sold (wholesales).

The more sporty impression on the Toyota New Yaris 2023 can be seen in the use of Black Grill Color and having new color options (two tone) to complement the existing color choices. 

Toyota New Yaris has six color options: Super White II, Attitude Black Mica, and Gray Mica. Meanwhile, for the two-tone options, there are combinations of Black + Super White II, Black + Red Mica Metallic, and Black + Citrus Mica Metallic. 

The sporty impression is further emphasized by the addition of New Tape Striped and is suitable for those who are young at heart and want to stand out. 

Moving on to the interior, the Toyota New Yaris is equipped with the New Advanced Infotainment System that can be connected to a smartphone. Then, the head unit screen size is now larger than 7 inches, becoming 9 inches for Audio+AACP and 9 inches for Audio HU Opening Cluster.

More Comfortable with New Seat Cover Material

To increase the comfort of the driver and passengers, there are improvements in the seat material of the Toyota New Yaris, which now uses half fabric half leather for variants with three airbags, and full leather for variants with seven airbags. 

Furthermore, the Toyota New Yaris will have a new driving experience thanks to the addition of the Panoramic View Monitor feature. This feature is able to display the top view of the vehicle on the navigation system screen, and the driver can monitor the surroundings of the vehicle as if the vehicle is transparent. This feature provides convenience when maneuvering in narrow road conditions.

TAM claims that the Toyota Yaris, which has been present in Indonesia for more than a decade, proves that this car has become one of the favorite vehicle choices of the community.

In addition to the product, TAM explains that this achievement is inseparable from Toyota's provision of Peace of Mind services, including offering affordable aftersales services.

The 2023 Toyota New Yaris is also supported by telematics technology, T-Intouch. TAM stated that this addition is a form of commitment to provide the best service to customers.

Through the mToyota application, vehicle owners can connect with their vehicles and access various information, ranging from service reminders, vehicle information, Find My Car, to Toyota Call Center and Road Assistance services to provide Peace of Mind services and give Total Ownership Experience to customers.
