"Dream - Toyota's electrification vehicle products, especially hybrid engine models, have received a positive response from the national market. In fact, their distribution is becoming increasingly widespread, from Aceh to Papua. "What's quite interesting is that yesterday I received data on the distribution. The distribution of hybrids is now from Aceh to Papua. So almost every island and province in Indonesia has been touched by hybrid products," said the Marketing Director of PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM), Anton Jimmi Suwandy in Semarang, Central Java, on Monday, August 26, 2024."
"Even so, Anton continued, Java Island still plays a major role in the spread of vehicles in the hybrid segment."
“However, if the hybrid in Java is around 50 percent, the rest is outside. This is quite interesting data that we rarely see. Perhaps in Central Java it is different from Jakarta, so the hybrid population will be more visible,” he added.
"Talking about the sales of electrified vehicles from Toyota, the number reaches 24 thousand units every month. The Kijang Innova Zenix hybrid remains the backbone of Toyota Indonesia's sales, followed by the Yaris Cross Hybrid and also the Alphard."
"Electrification now our average sales are 24,000 units (per month). Innova Zenix averages 2,000 units, Yaris Cross Hybrid around 500 units, Alphard and Vellfire around 500 units. That's already 3,000 units, not including the others" said Anton."
