Dream - Good news for architects in Indonesia, the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) is currently holding an Architectural Design Competition for the LPS Office Building at the National Capital (IKN) with a total prize worth Rp400 million.
“Through this competition for the design of the LPS office at IKN, we hope to realize an iconic, smart, and eco-friendly LPS headquarters in accordance with the regulations of the IKN Authority," said Acting Executive Director of Human Resources and Administration at LPS, Rudi Rahman, as quoted from Liputan6.com, Saturday, July 29, 2023.
LPS also collaborates with the Indonesian Architects Association (IAI) to support the competition. This competition is also a form of appreciation for architects who contribute directly to the development process of infrastructure in Indonesia, especially in the development of areas in IKN.
The competition will be held in Jakarta, precisely at the Jakarta Design Center building.
The registration period starts from July 20 to August 30, 2023, explanation of the competition procedures on July 28, 2023, submission deadline on August 30, 2023, stage I judging on August 30 to September 4, 2023, and stage II judging on September 11, 2023.

The assessment criteria for the LPS Office Building Design Competition at IKN are divided into three categories.
First, planning and design with a weight of 65 percent. Second, green building elements with a weight of 15 percent. Third, design expression with a weight of 20 percent.
This competition for the design of the LPS office at IKN is an important milestone in the planning phase of the LPS Land development in IKN as the headquarters.
This is in accordance with the mandate of the Law, as stated in Article 3 of Law Number 24 of 2004 concerning the Deposit Insurance Corporation, which states that the LPS is located in the National Capital of the Republic of Indonesia.
In addition, the main function of the LPS Headquarters in IKN is to facilitate communication and coordination with other members of the Financial System Stability Committee (KSSK), namely the Ministry of Finance, Bank Indonesia, and the Financial Services Authority in maintaining the national financial sector.
