Squatting and Hugging the Red Grave, the Child's Words of Pilgrimage to His Mother's Grave Make People Cry

Dream - Pilgrimage to the graves of parents is a common practice for everyone. However, the feeling changes to sadness when the pilgrim who comes is a child pouring out longing for a deceased father or mother.

When loved ones are called by the Creator, the only way to heal longing is to visit their grave. In addition to praying, many make pilgrimage moments by chatting to express their feelings or just telling stories, even though they know there will be no answer.  

This emotional moment was captured when a young boy visited his parents' grave in a video uploaded by the Tiktok account @sicikcik_.

In the video, a woman who was visiting her grandmother's grave saw a boy standing and staring at her.

The woman who was praying at that time thought the boy wanted to offer flowers. Her reason was that the boy was carrying a plastic bag of flowers and rose water.

When she finished and wanted to leave, the pilgrim woman saw the boy she had seen earlier sitting next to a grave.

The boy who came to the cemetery complex in Mekarsari, Cimanggis, Depok, West Java, was not alone. He brought his friends to visit his mother's grave.

The uploader of the video decided to approach the boy who was sprinkling flowers on the grave to invite him to pray together. When approached, the boy, who was still wearing a scout uniform, could no longer hold back his tears.

His head bowed down until his arms and forehead touched the ground of his mother's grave. While crying, he expressed his deep longing to his mother.

"Mom, I miss you, I'm sorry if I was naughty yesterday, I really miss you, mom," the woman wrote, recounting the boy's words in front of her.

Hearing the child's words, the woman's voice also trembled as she touched the head of the boy next to her while inviting him to pray together.

"Sometimes we, as adults, forget to visit our parents' graves, but this amazing child came with his friends. I was trembling because it was so touching," the woman wrote in her video.

After being uploaded, this video went viral on social media and received various responses from netizens in the comment section.
