Things That Will Not Be Forgiven by Allah SWT during Ramadan

Matters That Will Not Be Forgiven by Allah SWT in the Month of Ramadan

In the month of Ramadan, which is full of forgiveness from Allah SWT, there are matters that will not be forgiven by Allah SWT. This was mentioned by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) as follows:

"Jibril Alaihis Salam said to me: 'It is indeed a great loss for someone who enters the month of Ramadan but his sins are not forgiven.' I said: 'Aamiin (O Allah, grant it).'"

Regarding the matters that will not be forgiven by Allah SWT in the month of Ramadan, it is explained in the following hadith:

"It is indeed a great loss for someone whose name is mentioned in front of him but he does not send blessings upon me. And it is indeed a great loss for someone who enters the month of Ramadan but his sins are not forgiven. It is indeed a great loss for someone who has both parents or one of them in old age but does not admit them to Paradise.' (Narrated by Tirmidhi)

The first matter that will not be forgiven by Allah SWT on the Day of Judgment is when hearing the name of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), but not sending blessings upon him. On the other hand, sending blessings is not a difficult thing. A person only needs to move their lips.

Not Taking Care of Both Parents or One of Them

Another matter that will not be forgiven by Allah SWT in the month of Ramadan is not taking care of both parents or one of them. It is narrated that there was someone who had the opportunity to take care of both parents, but he did not. As a result, he was not admitted to Paradise. Even though he found his parents to serve him, he himself did not want to serve them.
