This Company Gets the Largest Contract for the Development of the New Capital City

Dream - PT PP (Persero) has obtained two additional projects in the National Capital City (IKN), East Kalimantan. With these additions, the state-owned construction company becomes the contractor with the largest value.

"With the addition of these two projects, the company has obtained a total of six projects worth IDR 2.9 trillion and has become the contractor with the highest contract value in IKN at present," said PP Company Secretary, Bahktiyar Efendi, quoted from merdeka.com, Tuesday, November 1, 2022.

The two additional projects for PT PP are the Construction of the Presidential Office Building in the Presidential Palace Area worth IDR 1.56 trillion and the Construction of the State Palace Building and Ceremony Field in the Presidential Palace Area worth IDR 1.34 trillion.

The company leads the consortium in the implementation of these two projects, with a share of 55 percent each. PT PP ensures that they will provide the best quality in accordance with their trademark by prioritizing innovation, technology, and safety in every project.

Previously, PP had obtained four IKN projects with a total value of IDR 1.47 trillion. These projects include the construction of the IKN Toll Road Segment KKT Kariangau-SP Tempadung worth IDR 687.7 billion.

In addition, the construction of the National Axis Road West Side worth IDR 423.8 billion, the Preparation of the Core Area of the Government Center (IKN) Phase 1 worth IDR 83.2 billion, and the Preparation of the Core Area of the Government Center (IKN) Phase 2 worth IDR 280.2 billion.

The total value of new contracts obtained by PT PP up to now is recorded at IDR 19.3 trillion, an increase of 33.5 percent compared to the new contract acquisition in October 2021.

"Currently, the company is still participating in several project tenders in IKN. We are optimistic about obtaining other projects according to the company's target," said Bakhtiyar.
