Touching Story of Rizal Maulana, Son of a Grave Digger Who Successfully Joins the Indonesian Army, Not Forgetting His Parents' Sacrifices

Dream - Many people choose to bury their dreams due to economic limitations. However, there are also many who continue to fight until they achieve their goals.

One of them is a young man named Rizal Maulana who successfully became a member of the Indonesian Army (TNI AD) thanks to his hard work and determination.

In a video uploaded on the Instagram account @tni_angkatan_darat, Rizal shares his life story, coming from a family with economic limitations but not letting it hinder him from becoming a soldier.

He mentioned that his father works as a grave digger, while his mother is a housewife.

"I am the fourth child out of four siblings. My father works as a grave digger and my mother is a housewife," said Rizal.

This young man from Bandung is grateful and happy to be accepted as a member of the Indonesian Army (TNI) despite coming from a very humble family.

"Alhamdulillah, even though my father works as a grave digger, I was trusted to become a member of the Indonesian Army," he added.

The youngest son revealed that his success is not separate from the sacrifices and hard work of his parents.

While holding back tears, he shared the sacrifices his parents made, working tirelessly even in extreme weather conditions and even when they were sick.

"Despite being sick, enduring rain and heat, my parents continue to work for my sake," said Rizal.

The same sentiment was expressed by his mother, who stated that she continues to support and pray for her son to achieve his dreams despite coming from a disadvantaged family.

"It's sad, his aspirations are high, but his mother is poor, we live in poverty. All I can do is pray for him and give him encouragement," said Rizal's mother with a trembling voice.

Rizal's mother also said that his story can serve as proof that economic conditions are not a barrier if one has determination and perseverance, such as becoming a member of the military.

"This should be an example for everyone who wants to join the military, it doesn't cost a penny, even someone from a poor background like Rizal can become a member of the Indonesian Army," she concluded.
