Mother's Confession About Her Daughter Who Was Thought to Be Difficult to Focus Reveals Surprising Facts

Like the experience of a mother named Yuliana who lives in Surabaya, East Java. She has a son named Yugi who takes a very long time when he has to do something. Many people thought that Yugo was very difficult to focus.

In a video on the TikTok account  @yuliana_ngoceh, the mother showed how difficult it was for Yugo to crack an egg. It took a very long time and there were many considerations.

"He is a perfectionist child who doesn't like to make mistakes, so he has to be careful and there are many considerations, observations, and considerations that take up time, which makes us and his teacher frustrated. Yugo's habit of being easily distracted makes us label him as a careless child, always causing frustration," Yuliana said in her TikTok.

The Opposite Observation Results

This made the mother consult Yugo with several educators and teachers. Apparently, there were new facts that were revealed and were very different from what was previously thought. After being observed, Yugo turned out to be a very focused child.

"The school leader said that Yugo is actually a very focused child. He observed that when Yugo is doing something and there is an interruption, his focus shifts to the second thing. So Yugo is not multitasking, but in the thing he is focused on, he is super detail-oriented," she said.

Becoming an Achievement Instead

Although this fact does not change the situation, it provides a different perspective for Yugo's parents to handle it better. They no longer label him as a child who has difficulty learning.

"Since then, we have practiced accepting his strengths and weaknesses more deeply. The journey of parenting that supports exploration in Yugo's strong area truly begins. We involve him in things that sharpen his curiosity in mechanical, assembly, and coding areas," said the mother.

Yugo's exceptional attention to detail enhances his research skills without being forced. He also develops analytical, coordination, communication, and critical thinking skills.

Yugo even won an electrical assembly competition that made him very proud of his work and increased his self-confidence. Sometimes, as parents, we have to find ways to discover our child's strengths so that they can be more optimal in that field.
