Ahmad Dhani Takes the Entire Dewa 19 to Umrah and Visits Masjidil Aqsa

Dream - Ahmad Dhani plans to bring several Dewa 19 members to perform Umrah in early 2023. After performing the pilgrimage in Mecca and Medina, Dhani will also invite his colleagues to visit other historic Islamic sites.

In addition to Saudi Arabia, the father of Al Ghazali will bring his companions to two majority Muslim countries, Palestine and Jordan. He will also visit Masjidil Aqsa.

"We will be traveling for about 12 days," said Ahmad in Jakarta recently.

The plan is for Dhani and his companions to spend two days in each country they will visit.

"Two days in Jordan, two days in Aqsa, two days in Mecca, two days in Medina," he revealed.

Mulan Jameela's husband revealed that the desire to perform Umrah together arose when Virzha joined Dewa 19 as a member.

"It started when Virzha joined us. That means all of us are Muslims," said Ahmad Dhani.

Considering that all the members of the band are Muslims, Dhani decided to perform Umrah together.

"Until now, all of our singers have been non-Muslims. Ari Lasso and Once are Protestants. Now we have Virzha. So, from there, the idea came up," he explained.(sah)

Previously, Tya Nugros is certainly not unfamiliar. He used to be one of the drummers of the famous Indonesian band, Dewa 19.

Although no longer active with the band led by Ahmad Dhani, Tyo is still active in playing the drums. He often shares his drumming activities on Instagram @realnugros.

Singer Ello announced that he has become the new vocalist of Dewa 19. Through Instagram, he uploaded a photo of himself with other Dewa 19 members.

The 39-year-old man never expected to become a vocalist for Dewa 19 because he has always admired the band led by Ahmad Dhani.
