Dream - Raden Kian Santang became one of the popular epic soap operas in 2012. This soap opera even had a sequel and its episodes reached hundreds. Seeing the high demand for the soap opera played by Alwi Assegaf, JP Pictures collaborated with Mesari Pictures to present a new and different storyline, namely the film Raden Kian Santang Jin Khanis.
Fence F Nayoan as the director explained that this film has a different storyline from the previous ones. This is because in this new format, elements of horror are added with the hope of making the storyline and viewing experience more interesting.
"If Raden Kian Santang used to focus more on action, war, fighting, and telling the story of the kingdom. Now it is more about adventure, now it is more about horror but there is also comedy,"

Alwi Assegaf, who is trusted again to take on the main role and portray Raden Kian Santang, is also happy because he is trusted to be involved in this film again.
"I become a wise and authoritative king who spreads the teachings of Islam. While playing that role, there was no difficulty. But now I have to adjust to the horror genre in this Jin Khanis version."

Meanwhile, Mulyadi as the producer from JP Pictures production house revealed that the characters in this film are not much different from his soap opera.
"The difference between the Raden Kian Santang Jin Khanis series and the previous one is only in its packaging. The selection of characters is not much different, except for the character of Surawisesa. There will be additional characters in the future."

Apart from Alwi Assegaf, this film is also played by Suheil Fahmi Bisyir, Icha Nabilah, Yama Carlos, and senior player Yati Surachman.
Raden Kian Santang "Jin Khanis" will be aired on Bioskop Online and Maxstream in mid-2024.
