Because he can no longer consume alcohol, Sabda began to eliminate some habits, such as hanging out at nightclubs, which he often did when he was still with Wulan Guritno. He began to realize that not consuming alcohol made his body better. He started to approach and deepen his understanding of Islam.

Before deciding to migrate, Sabda felt that his life was only filled with worldly matters and made him feel unsettled. "So all this time it's becoming clear that this pleasure is not happiness but satisfying desires and it comes and goes briefly. If there is no excitement, I have to cover it up with distractions like parties, women, and luxury. After that, I realized that I have to change this," he said.
