"Dream - Deddy Mahendra Desta or Desta admitted feeling hurt and disappointed with comedian Marshel Widianto. The trigger is that this 27-year-old comedian has lied to him and the Vindes team when taking on another job."
According to Desta, Marshel asked for permission not to attend as a guest on the YouTube content program Vindes. However, in the morning, Marshel was caught taking on another job.
"So the story is, Marshel was filming for 10 days and suddenly he took leave. I took leave the next day, saying that I wasn't feeling well and my body was uncomfortable. So he didn't come to work. Suddenly there was a photo of him at another event. Imagine, especially in the morning, can you imagine?"

According to Desta, Marshel should be honest with him and the team when they want to take another job. Instead of lying by asking for permission to be absent.
"The problem is that you just keep talking like that. How about this, I have work to do, can I have permission, no need to lie. Because I really hate being lied to."

"Why did you have to lie," Desta asked Marshel Widianto. Hearing Desta's words, this comedian and father of two children immediately apologized. He also explained that the real reason for lying was not to hurt both parties. Unfortunately, this lie disappointed Desta and the Vindes team with Marshel's attitude."
"I apologize, sir. (I lied) I was afraid of hurting you," said Marshel Widianto. "If it is known that I lied, it will hurt even more, right?" asked Desta. "I was stupid back then," answered Marshel Widianto. Desta admitted to being the type of person who will feel hurt and continue to remember the actions of someone who has lied to him. That attitude will even leave a mark even though Desta has forgiven that person."
"For now, Desta said he has forgiven Marshel and their friendship has returned to normal. However, Desta and the Vindes team are truly disappointed and cannot understand Marshel's deceitful behavior."
