Fadhil and Dinar Become Champions of the Grand Final of Qari Cilik Indonesia Season 2, Entitled to a Prize of Rp 45 Million

Dream - The Grand Final of Qari Cilik Indonesia Season 2, which was just aired on SCTV on Sunday, April 16, 2023, finally had two winners for the qari and qariah categories. Both winners are entitled to a prize of Rp 45 million each, as well as a certificate.

In the final stage of the Grand Final of Qari Cilik Indonesia Season 2, the qoriah finalists were Dinar Aulia Putri (Sidoarjo) and Intan Affiyah (Medan). Meanwhile, for the Qari category, Abdullah Azzam Al Hakim (Jombang) and M. Rizki Al-Fadhil (Pandeglang) participated.

All four of them recited the best maqam of the holy verses of the Qur'an and took on the challenge of continuing the verses in front of the jury. The jury panel this time consisted of Ustaz Sofyan Hadi Musa, Ustaz Subkhi Al Bughury, and Ustazah Mastia Lestaluhu.

The finalists were judged based on their ability in makhraj, fashahah, tajwid, melody and voice, as well as the "x" factor, which became the jury's assessment points.

Here are the Winners

The total score from the jury finally determined Fadhil from Pandeglang and Dinar from Sidoarjo as the 1st place winners in the Qari and Qari'ah categories of "Qari Cilik Indonesia Season 2".

Meanwhile, Azzam from Jombang and Intan from Medan achieved 2nd place in the Qari and Qari'ah categories.

The Grand Final of "Qari Cilik Indonesia Season 2" was also attended by several national figures, including Dr. H. Erick Thohir, B.A., M.B.A. (Minister of State-Owned Enterprises), DR. (H.C). Zulkifli Hasan, S.E., M.M. (Minister of Trade), and Dr. H. Zainut Tauhid Sa'adi, M.Si (Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs).

Hosted by Gilang Dirga and David Rizal, the stage of "Qari Cilik Indonesia Season 2" was also enlivened by performances from the band Ungu, Fatin Shidqia, and Marawis El Fath Junior.

Participants' Performances

Dinar Aulia Putri from Sidoarjo opened the show by reciting Surah Al-Baqarah: 130-132, chosen by the jury, with the maqam bayyati and jiharkah melody.

Despite being in poor health, Dinar still tried to give her best performance. Ustazah Mastia Lestaluhu praised Dinar's powerful and amazing voice.

Ustaz Sofyan Hadi Musa provided feedback on the pronunciation of tajwid, advising to be more careful and minimize accents.

The Grand Final of "Qari Cilik Indonesia Season 2" continued with the recitation of the holy verses of Surah Al-A'raf: 48-50 by Intan Affiyah from Medan, with the maqam bayati and hijaz melody. Intan caught the attention of all three jury members with her melodic and golden voice.

"I am very proud of Intan's ability. I would also like to thank Intan's parents for their exceptional education," said Minister of Trade, Zulkifli Hasan, S.E., M.M.

Verse Connection Battle

In addition to performing individually, the qari'ah finalists were also challenged to a verse connection battle with a specified Surah and Ayat from the Qur'an determined by the jury.

Dinar Aulia Putri from Sidoarjo and Intan Affiyah from Medan received Surah Al-Hashr: 21-22 with the maqam hijaz. Dinar started, followed by Intan.

Ustazah Mastia Lestaluhu, who was present as a jury member, praised their spectacular and complementary battle, saying it was enjoyable to listen to.

These last two finalists were also challenged to a verse connection battle. Azzam and Fadhil received Surah Al-Isra: 9-10 with the maqam nahawand. Both of them successfully performed well, but there was a note to be more synchronized.

The stage of the Grand Final of Qari Cilik Indonesia Season 2 this afternoon was enlivened by religious music performances. One of them was the performance of the band Ungu, who performed their hit song "Para Pencari-Mu".

Next, Abdullah Azzam Al Hakim from Jombang appeared as the third participant in the Grand Final of "Qari Cilik Indonesia Season 2".

Azzam recited Surah Ali Imran: 102-104 with the maqam hijaz, nahawand, and rost. Ustaz Subkhi Al Bughury praised the excellent opening performance of the Qari category.

The last participant to perform was M. Rizki Al-Fadhil from Pandeglang, who recited Surah Ali Imran: 152 with the maqam hijaz and nahawand.

Fadhil successfully caught the attention of all the jury members with his ability to reach the highest notes in his recitation. The Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs praised his vocal ability.

"Rizki's voice is excellent, continue to learn from the ustaz and ustazah to become more mature," said Dr. H. Zainut Tauhid Sa'adi, M.Si.

Fatin's Performance

In addition, Fathin Shidqia also performed several songs with her distinctive voice. The performance of Marawis El Fath Junior added excitement to the Grand Final of "Qari Cilik Indonesia Season 2".

The long journey of the Grand Final of 'Qari Cilik Indonesia Season 2' finally reached the announcement of the winners. The announcement ceremony was divided into two categories, Qari and Qari'ah.

The top scores from the jury went to M. Rizki Al-Fadhil from Pandeglang in the Qari category and Dinar Aulia Putri from Sidoarjo in the Qari'ah category, with scores of 282 and 294 respectively.

This was followed by Abdullah Azzam Al Hakim (Jombang) with a score of 279 in the Qari category, and Intan Affiyah (Medan) with a score of 285 in the Qari'ah category.

Prizes for the Winners

As the winners, Fadhil (Pandeglang) and Dinar (Sidoarjo) are entitled to a prize of Rp 45 million each and a certificate presented by Dr. H. Zainut Tauhid Sa'adi, M.Si, the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.

Meanwhile, Azzam (Jombang) and Intan (Medan) as the 2nd place winners will receive a prize of Rp 25 million each and a certificate presented by the jury members, Ustaz Sofyan Hadi Musa and Ustazah Mastia Lestaluhu.

The Minister of State-Owned Enterprises of the Republic of Indonesia, H. Erick Thohir, B.A., M.B.A., also added cash prizes of Rp 15 million for the 1st place winners and Rp 10 million for each of the 2nd place winners.
