Dream - Remember the Warkopi trio? This group was once viral, but quickly faded after being accused of plagiarizing the Warkop DKI group.

This group indeed has the same concept as Warkop DKI. Moreover, the faces of the three members resemble the three personnel of Warkop DKI, namely Dono, Kasino, and Indro.

Because they were considered plagiarizing, they finally changed their group name to Makuboys. After changing their name, they started a new career in the film world. This group was contracted by a major production house that made them the main cast in the film.

After being accused of plagiarizing Warkop DKI, the group consisting of Alfin Dwi Krisnandi, Sepriadi, and Dimas Kusnandi, changed their name from Warkopi to Makuboys.

Makuboys was busy with the shooting of a horror film produced by MVP Pictures. This film, directed by Ody C Harahap and written by Imam Darto, is titled Duit Express.

3. Creating Content Together

Although no longer using the name Warkopi, these three young men are also actively creating content together on SDA Daily Vlog.

Their appearance from the beginning of their public appearance has not changed much. From their fashion style to their hairstyle. Only Sepriadi's haircut is shorter than before.

Not Looking for Trouble, Warkopi Decides to Disband and Use the Original Members' Names

Dream - Not wanting to prolong the problem with Indro Warkop, the Warkopi group consisting of Alfin, Dimas, and Sepriadi decided to disband.

"So Warkopi doesn't exist, from today we officially disband Warkopi. So in the future, there will only be Alfin, Dimas, and Sepriadi," said Aly Julys, Patria TV's spokesperson, who handles Warkopi as quoted from Kapanlagi.com.

For now, the three former members of the Warkopi group will use their respective names. But Aly ensures that a new identity is being considered to give a group name to the personnel who are said to resemble members of Warkop DKI.

"Whether there will be a new name, we'll see in the future," Aly said.

Exclusive Contract with a Major Production House

Meanwhile, Alfin and his two colleagues said they didn't want to be bothered by the controversy that arose when they first introduced the name Warkopi. They just want to continue their work without hurting anyone's feelings.

"If you say it's a pity, how about that. Because from the beginning, we just let it go naturally, without any setup, and without any specific goals. ...... Basically, we don't want to create trouble here," said Alfin.

Despite abandoning the name of the Warkopi comedy group, fortune still favors these three young comedians. They claimed to have received job offers, one of which is to star in a film.

"I want to convey that currently Alfin, Dimas, and Sepriadi have received an exclusive contract from one of the major film companies in Indonesia," said Aly Julys.
