During her sentence, Angelina was detained at Pondok Bambu Women's Penitentiary Class IIA, Jakarta. She was in the same penitentiary as Jessica Kumala Wongso, who was a suspect in the murder case of Mirna Salihin involving cyanide coffee.

The wife of the late Adjie Massaid was finally able to be free on March 3, 2022. She also admitted that she had to readjust to the outside world after being in an area that may not be more than 500 meters for almost 10 years.
