Get Ready, Dewa 19 Holds Concert with Legendary World Musicians

Dream - After the success of the "30 Years of Dewa's Work" concert in 30 cities in Indonesia, Dewa 19 is holding a new concert. Titled Featuring All Stars Stadium Tour 2023, the band led by Ahmad Dhani is collaborating with several legendary world musicians.

Those who are confirmed to join this concert include Jeff Scott Soto, the vocalist of Sons of Apollo; Simon Phillips, former drummer of Toto; Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, guitarist of Sons of Apollo and former guitarist of Guns N' Roses.

There is also Dino Jelusick, vocalist of Trans-Siberian Orchestra; Derek Sherinian, keyboardist of Sons of Apollo and former keyboardist of Dream Theater; and Billy Sheehan, bassist of Sons of Apollo and former bassist of Mr. Big.

According to Ahmad Dhani, this concert will be different from previous concerts. Because there are several Dewa 19 songs that will be sung in English.

"There will be several Dewa songs that will be sung in English, such as Arjuna, the verses will be in English and the chorus will be in Indonesian. Immortal Love Song will also be sung in English," said Ahmad Dhani in a press conference at Plaza Senayan Jakarta, Tuesday, May 23, 2023.

Ahmad Dhani promises to present masterpieces from two legendary singers.

"The most important thing is that we present masterpieces from Queen and masterpieces from Toto, that's the most important thing. This is still a celebration of 30 years of Dewa 19. This is one of the celebrations," he added.

The promoter, Sysan Ibrahim, CEO of Otello Asia, revealed that this concert is very special for Dewa 19 because they can collaborate with legendary foreign musicians.

"I am very proud that Dewa 19 featuring All Stars Stadium Tour 2023 can be held. This is a domestic concert with international standards, and the chosen location is the best stadium in Indonesia with international standards," he said.

Rionaldo Liputo, CEO of Redline kreasindo, said that this concert is his biggest challenge.

"This is definitely a new challenge for me and Sysan (CEO of Otello Asia) to execute Dhani's idea, because Dhani's expectations are quite high. Of course, Baladewa and Baladewi's expectations are also quite high, we learn from JIS (Java Jazz Festival) yesterday," said Rionaldo Liputo.

This All Stars Stadium Tour 2023 concert will start from Solo, precisely at Manahan Stadium on Saturday, July 29, 2023.

Then it will continue in Jakarta, precisely at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (GBK) on Saturday, August 12, 2023. After that, it will be held in Bandung and Surabaya.

Presale tickets will be available online starting on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 13:00 WIB (Western Indonesian Time) only through Loket.com.

The price ranges from IDR 460,000 to IDR 670,000.
