The circulating photo made many people immediately assume that Olla Ramlan decided to remove her hijab. Moreover, the photo is rumored to have been circulated by one of her friends who is listed as a close friend on Olla's platform.

Regarding the circulation of the post, Olla said that the photo was indeed only intended for her closest friends. "All of them are my close friends, if there are friends of mine who leaked it, then that's the consequence for me," said Olla Ramlan in Mampang, South Jakarta, Thursday, January 19, 2023.

Although aware of the consequences, Olla Ramlan still regrets her friend's act of spreading the photo without her permission. By limiting the distribution among close friends, the photo should only be seen by trusted friends who have already gained her trust.
