Jefri Nichol Apologizes for Wrong Doxing Target

Dream - Jefri Nichol is once again a hot topic among netizens, especially on Twitter. This is because he did doxing or publicly spreading information about others, but unfortunately, he targeted the wrong person. 

Due to his mistake, the 24-year-old actor finally apologized through his personal Twitter account.

"Halo e**, I want to apologize for mistaking you as the person who hates me and for spreading your personal data (doxing)," tweeted Jefri Nichol. 

Jefri stated that he did not disclose all the data of the netizens who were mistakenly targeted. According to him, the purpose of doxing was to scare his haters. 

"And I also want to say that the data I posted is not complete and it was originally intended to scare the hater who I thought was you. Once again, I apologize e**," he continued. 

Jefri's apology tweet sparked a discussion among netizens. According to them, the apology from the Dear Nathan: Thank You Salma actor was not sincere. 

They even asked Jerfi to apologize directly to the person involved. 

"Remember, friends, an apology accompanied by "reasons" in any form is not a sincere apology 🙏," wrote the @Sa********r account.

"If someone wrongs you, would you confront them and maybe even hit them? But when you dox the wrong person, you don't want to apologize directly? wkwk," added the @iy*******a account.

"The "incomplete data" is not the point, bro. You were wrong and yet you still try to find a small opening to appear slightly innocent

In another tweet, there was a private conversation between Jefri and the woman involved. 

Through that conversation, Jefri wanted to take responsibility for any inconvenience caused to the account owner, as a result of the personal data he shared. 

"Alright, if anything makes you uncomfortable or if someone comes to your house, I will take responsibility for it," the message from Jefri read.

Dream - Jefri Nichol apologizes for his statement accusing Ferdy Sambo's child of causing trouble at a nightclub.

It turns out that the star of the film Dear Nathan mistook the person and it was not Ferdy Sambo's child.

"I'm sorry, it was actually a random person shouting 'Sambo' in front of the club, not his child," Jefri Nichol said on Twitter.

On the other hand, Jefri still hopes that the case involving Ferdy Sambo will be handled properly and that he will receive a fair punishment for his actions.

"If proven guilty, they should face punishment. I also (should be punished), so why do officials receive different treatment from civilians?" he added.

Jefry also highlighted Ferdy Sambo's wife, who was not arrested because she still has a child. He wants everyone to be treated equally when given punishment for their wrongdoing.

"It's not fair when civilians with toddlers are imprisoned while officials are given leniency even though their children are already adults," he said.
