This 45-year-old man also apologized to Venna Melinda and her extended family. He feels that he is just an ordinary human with flaws.

"Secondly, I also apologize to my wife as a husband. I am just an ordinary human being with strengths and weaknesses," said Ferry Irawan.

"Thirdly, I also apologize to Mami Ayu and all of her extended family, and my entire extended family for what has happened in my marriage," added Ferry.

As a good citizen, Ferry added, he will comply with the legal process after undergoing an examination at the East Java Regional Police on Monday, January 16, 2023.

Write a Love Letter to Venna Melinda

Ferry Irawan wrote a letter to Venna Melinda. In front of the media, Ferry read the letter he wrote specifically for Venna Melinda.

"To my beloved wife Venna, you know, Venna knows the struggle we went through until we could get married. I apologize for all the mistakes I made during our marriage," said Ferry.

Although currently detained, Ferry hopes that what he is experiencing now can regain Venna Melinda's love.

"If what I have been through can regain Venna's love and affection. I am also sad because it caused my mother to be ill," he said.

Ferry will send the letter read to Venna Melinda through his lawyer.

"I know deep down in Mena's (Venna) heart, Mena is a good person, whatever it is, I will always love and cherish Mena. I will send this letter directly through Pak Jeffry (lawyer) so that Mena can receive it," he said.

Ferry Irawan Officially Detained for Domestic Violence Case against Venna Melinda

Dream - After undergoing a six-hour examination at the East Java Regional Police, Ferry Irawan, who was previously a suspect in a domestic violence case against Venna Melinda, was officially detained.

"Tonight, the investigator has decided to detain FI (Ferry Irawan)," said the Head of Public Relations of East Java Regional Police, Kombes Dirmanto, quoted from liputan6.com, Monday, January 16, 2023.

According to Dirmanto, before being detained, Ferry Irawan underwent a health examination by the medical team of the East Java Regional Police.

The medical team stated that Ferry Irawan's health is good enough to be detained.

"After being examined by a doctor, fingerprint examination has been conducted. Ensuring that the person is healthy. That's why we conducted the identification process," said Dirmanto.

Earlier, Ferry Irawan expressed his desire not to be detained before undergoing the examination. However, the investigators finally decided to detain Ferry Irawan.

"As stated in Article 21 of the Criminal Code, the objective requirement for the investigator to detain. Moreover, there is a 5-year threat to the suspect," said Dirmanto.
