Married to Anne Kurniasih, Teddy Syach Feels Treated Like a Kindergarten Child

Dream - Teddy Syach found happiness again after marrying Anne Kurniasih in November 2022. He had been down since his previous wife, Rina Gunawan, passed away on March 2, 2021.

"It means that because I have been married for a long time (with Rina Gunawan), half of my soul disappeared, but after this marriage, that half is filled again. So, what's done is done," said Teddy Syach as quoted in the show Rumpi.

In addition, Teddy feels very grateful to marry Anne because his life is back on track and he is being taken care of by his partner.

"She is truly a wife who knows her duties of taking care of the family, children, husband, cooking, and everything," said Teddy Syach.

Because his wife enjoys cooking, Teddy feels like a child because he is always provided with food every time he goes for shooting.

"I never get hungry because I am always supplied with food, like my kindergarten child," Teddy said with a laugh.

Dream - Karnisya Rahmasyach frankly expressed her feelings upon seeing her father, Teddy Syach, getting married again after her mother, Rina Gunawan, passed away.

"At first, it wasn't easy for me, but with God's blessings, I can accept it," said Karnisya as quoted from the YouTube channel Cumi Cumi.

Although she can accept it, Karnisya admitted feeling sad because her father could quickly find another wife. She even cried when her father got married.

"But I strengthen myself," she said.

However, Karnisya doesn't feel a change in her relationship with her father. Because all this time, she and her older sister were not close to Teddy Syach.

"I feel that my father is not a parent figure who is close to me and my sister. We are close to our mother (Rina Gunawan) and always go everywhere with her because my father is busy with shooting, so we rarely have time alone or in a group," she said.

That's why after Teddy Syach got married, Karnisya chose to live alone with her older sister. While her father lives in Sentul with his new wife.

"I rarely meet him, maybe only on weekends. On weekends, my father and Anne (Teddy's wife) come here to meet us because it's empty there if no one stays there, so we divide the houses," she said.

Teddy and Anne's wedding took place on November 27, 2022, at Anne Kurniasih's residence in Bandung, West Java.

"About three to four months (getting to know each other). If we are compatible, then we get married," said Teddy Syah as quoted by Dream from the show Silet on Wednesday, November 30, 2022.

Although it was relatively short, Teddy continued, Anne was introduced as his future wife to his children.

"I am grateful that during the wedding, the children were also calm and felt compatible," he added.

During the getting-to-know period, Teddy, who tried to get to know Anne's personality, felt comfortable and his mind felt calm. It was that conviction that drove him to marry the woman from Bandung.

"A few days of meeting her made me calm. So, we decided to get married through WhatsApp chat," he said.

This 48-year-old senior actor emphasized that he never intended to hide his marriage. The reception was relatively unknown to the media because he and Anne had a short time to prepare for the wedding.

"It's not because I wanted to keep it a secret, but because I was working. Because I had a very short time to prepare for the wedding with Anne," he said.
