"Dream - Tantri Kotak experienced an unexpected incident while performing in Cianjur on Saturday night, July 13, 2024. She fell from a two-meter high stage while greeting a fan."
In the video upload on the Instagram account @tantrisyalindri, the band Kotak can be seen performing in an outdoor field. This field is filled with many crowded spectators. This incident started when the vocalist, whose full name is Tantri Syalindri Ichlasari, greeted her fans closer to the front end of the stage.
The position is very close to the standing audience barrier. While squatting, Tantri tries to shake hands with a man who wants to greet her. This man's fan also tries to reach out to Tantri's hand.
However, when Tantri successfully shook hands, the fan's hand accidentally pulled Tantri. This caused the mother of one child to immediately fall from the stage two meters high. "The tragedy in Cianjur tonight will always be remembered. Falling from a two-meter high stage," said Tantri.
The fall of Tantri then shocked the other spectators and screams were heard. Luckily, Tantri was not injured. She claimed to be fine. Tantri even praised the enthusiasm of the Cianjur spectators, after Kotak band had taken a break from performing for 1.5 months. "Thank God I'm fine. Cianjur, you guys are awesome today #KotakBandUpdate," expressed Tantri.
Tantri also assessed that the incident was not intentional. And she considered the man's actions as merely an expressive form of a spectator. She also forgave him for the incident that happened to her. "This was not intentional. It was just an expressive form of a spectator, and I forgive. Hopefully, this incident will not happen again," expressed Tantri.
In the same video, the man who accidentally pulled Tantri's hand also apologized and explained that he unintentionally pulled the vocalist's hand.
"For this event, I accidentally pulled Tantri's hand earlier, and I sincerely apologize for the incident that happened earlier. I apologize for this event. I apologize if I made any mistakes or if I was wrong, I sincerely apologize,""
