"Dream - Thariq Halilintar and Aaliyah Massaid officially became husband and wife after holding their marriage ceremony at the Raffles Hotel, Jakarta, on Friday, July 26, 2024. Thariq gave a wedding dowry to Aaliyah in the form of cash amounting to Rp26,072,024. According to Thariq, the dowry he provided has a meaningful significance as it corresponds with the wedding date."
"The dowry is adjusted to today's date, this year, Aal's request is not asking for anything, I'm confused about what the dowry should be, so let's just make one that can remind us of today, 26.072.024," said Thariq Halilintar.
"Aaliyah said that she does not have any special requirements for the dowry given by her husband. The second daughter of Reza and the late Adjie Massaid completely entrusts it to Thariq."
"She asked what I wanted, and I replied 'I don't know, it's up to you.' I just followed along. But she is indeed more hands-on, she is a very creative person, so I left it to her," Aaliyah revealed."
"On the other hand, Aaliyah is very grateful because her marriage to Thariq received a lot of support from family. Especially Thariq's two older siblings and Aaliyah's sister who were willing to step back. "They are very supportive and what matters is that we are happy, they already know that soulmates are indeed arranged by Allah," said Aaliyah."
"Thariq was so moved when his older sister, Sohwa, acted wisely regarding marriage. Sohwa did not hinder or object to being surpassed by Thariq, who wanted to get married first."
