Interestingly, at Anies's house there is an ancient joglo that was built since 1743. Allegedly, the joglo was used as a learning place for Prince Diponegoro.

Uniquely, the house is located in a residential area and narrow alley. Unlike other officials' houses which are generally located in elite areas.

The house has a beautiful interior using teak wood in almost every part of the house.
