Dream - One more horror film will enliven Indonesian cinemas. Possession: Kerasukan is an adaptation of a French film that entered the box office ranks. This horror film is directed by Falcon Black and adapted from a film titled Possession that showcases many intense scenes.
Carissa Perusset admitted feeling pressured when starring in the horror film Possession: Kerasukan.
Playing as Ratna, Carissa has to delve into the darkest side of her character, which experiences many unpleasant things.
"My character goes through a lot, not only mentally but also physically. I often feel uncomfortable," said Carissa.
Carissa Perusset added that she is happy to be able to play outside of the genre that she had never played before. "I am very happy to play in Possession: Kerasukan, because I am stepping out of my comfort zone," she added.
Carissa Perusset competes for a role with Darius.
Story of Possession: Possession revolves around Faris (Darius Sinathrya), who has just returned from months of military duty. He is greeted by a divorce request from his wife, Ratna (Carissa Perusset).
Because he suspected there was another man behind Ratna's strange behavior, Faris wanted to investigate various possibilities, including infidelity.
However, his investigation led to something even more terrifying than he had expected. It turns out, in order to facilitate the work, Ratna performed a black magic ritual.
Apart from Darius Sinathrya and Carissa Perusset, this film directed by Robby Ertanto is starred by renowned actors and actresses such as Sara Fajira and Arswendy Beningswara. Meanwhile, the screenplay is written by Lele Laila.
Possession: Possession will haunt cinemas throughout Indonesia starting from May 8, 2024.
