Tina explained that if she takes selfies at the office, it's not because she has no work to do. On the contrary, it's because she has finished her work and can use social media.

Tina's Defense

"Is it appropriate to take a selfie or TikTok video at the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) when the meeting has not started yet or when it's about to end or when there is no discussion? In my opinion, if the task is already completed, taking a selfie is allowed," she said.

Tina stated that the political situation in the country is currently heated due to the enactment of the Omnibus Law on Job Creation by the DPR. As a result, she, as a representative of the people, becomes a target for criticism.

Because many people do not know that she is a member of the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD), not the DPR, Tina explained that she was not involved in the enactment of the Job Creation Law as she is not a member of the DPR.

"Maybe it's because of the heated political situation and maybe it's because I am a TikTok-using representative of the people, that's why I am heavily attacked and many people think I am in Senayan (the DPR building) when I am actually in Kebon Sirih (DPRD)... If the DPR is responsible for passing national laws, the DPRD is responsible for regional regulations in the Jakarta Provincial Government," she said.
