Showing Tax Underpayment of Rp 93 Million, Marshel Widianto's Annual Income Revealed?

Dream - Marshel Widianto presents evidence of the Annual Tax Notification (SPT) report that he has to pay to the government. In the uploaded Electronic SPT proof on Instagram feed, this 26-year-old comedian is recorded to still owe annual taxes amounting to Rp 93.8 million.

The photo of the tax payment proof is used by comedian Yudha Ramadhan, also known as Yudha Keliling, to break down Marshel Widianto's income in one year.

"If the tax is that big, how much is his annual income, let's calculate," said Yudha Keliling as quoted by Dream from his TikTok account @yudhakhel, Tuesday, April 11, 2023.

Armed with data of underpaid taxes, Yudha tries to calculate Marshel's income by tracing the amount of progressive tax rates paid by his fellow comedian.

After calculating, Yudha found an estimated figure that Marshel's annual income reaches above Rp 1 billion.

"Marshel's income is Rp 1,124,941,360," said Yudha.

He noted that the value of Marshel's income is valid if all taxes from the income received from work are borne by himself and not by the employer.

"If the taxes are borne by the employer, what about the income? The income figure is higher than the one I calculated," he said.

Marshel's calculated income by Yudha Keling received comments from netizens. Many did not expect Marshel's annual income to be so large.

"The country should be RICH... just one artist like Marshel owes 93 million... where does the tax go??? Where does it disappear??? ENOUGH," wrote the account @BRAH.

"The calculation is correct, but don't forget about FINAL and Non-Final.. my Tax report is ZERO," wrote the account @Bang Mamanz.

Cesen's Story of Meeting Marshel Widianto: Initially Because of Compulsion and Pity

Dream - Cesen, former JKT48 member, openly tells the story of how she first met Marshel Widianto. She admitted that she started to get to know him after Marshel diligently replied to her Instagram Stories.

"He DM-ed me and replied to my Stories. He likes to send heart emojis," Cesen said on the Kuy Entertaiment YouTube channel.

At that time, Cesen never responded to Marshel's messages because she was close to another man. However, Marshel did not give up and continued to approach her.

But after five months of not responding, Cesen was scolded by her friend, Ardit Erwandha, who is also a comedian. According to Cesen, Ardit said that there was someone who wanted to get to know her.

"Then finally, Kak Ardit Erwandha said 'there's someone who wants to get to know you, but you didn't reply to the DMs'. Then I looked at it and realized, 'oh, it's been a long time'," Cesen revealed.

Cesen finally reluctantly replied to Marshel's message because at that time she was upset because her male friend did not respond well to her.

"I replied out of obligation and pity. Seriously, it's true. At first. Because it's been a long time (DMs), it's not nice (to not reply). But he's also nice, keeps chatting," Cesen said.

She saw Marshel's efforts to approach her were quite intensive. So Cesen decided to open her heart to Marshel.

"Usually, if a guy is not replied to for three months, he'll run away. But this (Marshel), he's really loyal," she said.

Marshel didn't want his love life to be interfered with by many people. He didn't want to disappoint many people if this love story couldn't go smoothly.

"If my personal life is given to the public, I'm afraid that if we have arguments and such, it won't work out, and I'm afraid that netizens will be disappointed," he explained.

After being married for a year and only announcing it to the public now, Marshel admits that it's time to let the public know that he has a wife and child.

"Why go public? I decided that I'm ready to be a father, I want to prove that I have a child," he said.
