Undergo Divorce Trial, Virgoun Tightly Guarded

Dream - Virgoun and Inara Rusli attended their divorce trial held at the West Jakarta Religious Court on Wednesday, June 7, 2023.

Meanwhile, Virgoun arrived a few minutes later with his lawyer, Sandy Arifin. He was also escorted by four police officers when entering the West Jakarta Religious Court.

No statements were made by Virgoun when entering the divorce courtroom. The singer of 'Surat Cinta Untuk Starla' remained silent even though the media kept asking about his divorce.

Virgoun, wearing a green shirt, long pants, a beanie, and a black mask, only communicated with his lawyer before entering the courtroom.

Unlike Virgoun, Inara Rusli gave a little comment. She admitted that her meeting with Virgoun after the divorce was not the first time.

Dream - Virgoun's lawyer, Wijayono Hadi Sukrisno, allows Inara Rusli to demand mut'ah (temporary marriage) payment of Rp10 billion in cash, as well as child support of Rp110 million per month for his client.

"It's okay to include divorce, iddah (waiting period), child support, and other assets. But it depends on whether the evidence supports it or not," said Wijayono at the West Jakarta Religious Court on Wednesday, May 31, 2023.

According to Wijayono, Virgoun accepts it gracefully. He does not question the allegations made by Inara Rusli. "He enjoys it all, the allegations from the other party, we enjoy it bit by bit," he said.

On the other hand, Virgoun does not want to speak publicly about his divorce because he still respects Inara Rusli as the mother of his children.

"We don't want to engage in a war of words in the media, it's better to stay silent. We don't want to accuse or slander anyone on social media," he added.

Dream - Inara Rusli counter-sues Virgoun for divorce at the West Jakarta Religious Court. In her lawsuit, Inara demands various things, including child support and hadhanah (childcare) expenses.

According to Inara's lawyer, Arjana Bagaskara, her client demands that Virgoun pay a monthly childcare expense of Rp50 million. The hadhanah money must be given until each of their children reaches the age of 21.

"It is ruled that Virgoun must pay hadhanah in the amount of Rp50 million per month for each child in cash until they reach the age of 21," said Arjana Bagaskara, as quoted from the show Cumi Cumi.

Inara also requests Virgoun to provide child support for their three children. The child support money must be given to each child until they reach adulthood.

"Furthermore, it is ruled that Virgoun must pay child support in the amount of Rp60 million per month until each child reaches the age of 21, in cash after the divorce verdict, even if there is an appeal process," added Arjana.

Is that all? There's more. Inara also demands that Virgoun pay mut'ah (temporary marriage) payment of Rp10 billion in cash.

Mut'ah or consolation is a gift from the former husband to the former wife who has been divorced, either in the form of money or other items.

Inara is determined to fight for the custody of her children. However, she still opens the opportunity for reconciliation with Virgoun.

"I have to fight for the custody of my children. If the other party wants to reconcile, I am open to peace," said Inara Rusli.

In addition to child support, Inara also requests that Virgoun stay at least 10 kilometers away from her residence.

"Therefore, we are not only suing for divorce but also requesting provisions."

In her lawsuit, Inara submitted 11 demands ranging from divorce, custody rights, child support, iddah (waiting period) support, to other assets.

"There are many, it consists of 75 pages," said Arjana.

The divorce lawsuit documents filed by Inara Rusli against Virgoun have been registered at the West Jakarta Religious Court with registration number 1662/Pdt.G/2023/PA.JB. The schedule for the couple's first trial has also been determined by the court.

"The first trial will be on May 31, 2023," said Arjana.
