Dream - Yudha Arfandi was designated as a suspect in Dante's death after the police found evidence from CCTV that showed Tamara Tyasmara's lover drowning Dante 12 times in the swimming pool.
Yudha drowned Dante with varying durations ranging from 2 seconds to the last one being 54 seconds, causing Dante to run out of breath and die.
"The suspect submerged the victim into the pool 12 times with varying durations of 14 seconds, 24 seconds, 4 seconds, then 2 seconds, followed by 26 seconds, 4 seconds, 21 seconds, 17 seconds, 8 seconds, and 26 seconds, while the last one lasted 54 seconds."
"ungkap Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Wira Satya saat prescon, Senin,12 Februari 2024." translates to "revealed by the Director of Criminal Investigation of the Jakarta Metro Police, Commissioner Pol Wira Satya, during a press conference on Monday, February 12, 2024."
When Yudha submerged Dante 12 times with different durations, the shortest being 2 seconds, the Police said that at that time it was likely being monitored by a lifeguard or pool guard.
"Video analysis indicates that when his time was short, he submerged his head because there was a lifeguard there who also briefly looked at the situation,"
"katanya." translates to "he/she said."
Therefore, the police will examine the pool guard to investigate the indications. "Later, we will mix the video and the statement from the lifeguard," he said.
Meanwhile, Yudha is charged with multiple articles because it resulted in Dante's death, namely Article on Child Protection Law and/or Article 340 of the Criminal Code, and/or Article 338 of the Criminal Code, and/or Article 359 of the Criminal Code.
