Dream - Universitas Pancasila is currently under public scrutiny due to allegations of sexual harassment committed by its rector with the initials ETH towards two of its employees. The case of alleged sexual harassment at Universitas Pancasila first came to light after two individuals claiming to be victims reported the case to the police.
The first victim, with the initials RZ, filed a report to the Jakarta Metropolitan Police. The report is registered with the number LP/B/193/I/2024/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA. The second victim, with the initials DF, submitted a report to the Indonesian National Police Criminal Investigation Department. The report is recorded with the number LP/B/36/I/2024/SPKT/BARESKRIM POLRI.
The following are the facts of the alleged sexual harassment case committed by the rector of Pancasila University:
Lawyer RZ, Amanda Manthovani revealed that the sexual harassment incident experienced by her client occurred a year ago, precisely in February 2023. "In February 2023, the perpetrator called the victim into the room for work purposes," said Amanda, quoted from Liputan6.com, Monday, February 26, 2024.
At that time, the victim as a university employee entered the suspect's room without suspecting anything. Inside the room, the victim suddenly had their cheeks kissed by ETH while listening to the given instructions. Shocked by such treatment, the victim was speechless. Not stopping there, ETH repeated their actions by asking the victim to help them apply eye drops. During the encounter, the perpetrator then squeezed a sensitive part of the victim's body. As a result of the incident, the victim immediately left the room and reported it to their superior.
RZ previously tried to report to the university. However, on February 20, 2023, the victim instead received a transfer and demotion letter. Therefore, the victim immediately brought the case to the legal domain.
Amanda added, her party has sent letters to several agencies such as the Ministry of Education and Culture and the National Commission on Violence against Women. "Until now, we have already made reports and sent letters to the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, the Higher Education Service Institution, and the National Commission on Violence against Women," said Amanda.

According to Amanda, both previous victims have written letters to the foundation to investigate the alleged sexual harassment. However, until now there has been no response.
"Until now, the foundation has been indifferent and ignored, which is why they finally made the report because they felt ignored by the foundation," said Amanda. Amanda emphasized that the two victims did not immediately report to the police. So, there are stages, one of which is writing a letter to the foundation. However, there was no response at all. "Even after the letter arrived, it was asked several weeks later if there was any follow-up, but there has never been an answer until now," she said.
Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Commissioner Ade Ary Syam Indradi, confirmed that a summons for examination had been sent to ETH. The examination is scheduled for Monday, February 26, 2024. "That's correct (examination)," said Ade.
"Through his lawyer, Raden Nanda Setiawan, ETH dismissed the allegations of the sexual harassment incident."
"We assure that the news is based on false reports and the reported incidents never happened," he said. Raden mentioned that the report of alleged sexual harassment filed by two victims against his client is too suspicious. According to him, the report was made in the midst of the process of selecting a new rector. "The issue of sexual harassment that occurred 1 year ago is too suspicious to be reported now, during the process of selecting a new rector," said Raden."
