Dream - Hidayah can come at any time. If Allah wills it, then anything can happen. Like the experience of a Japanese woman who decided to convert to Islam in Indonesia. Despite coming from a Buddhist family and not understanding the concept of divinity, she believes in embracing Islam.

"So I was born in a temple, and grew up in a temple environment, so I kind of believe in spiritual things,"

For Hikari, embracing religion is not a common thing in Japan. People do not think about religion and only enjoy celebrations. But because her father is a monk, Hikari believes in God, Buddha, and other spiritual things.

"Until finally Hikari came to Indonesia and was amazed by its society that respects each other's religions. "And I see that Indonesia is a great country, and its people are religious, like you all are very friendly, they also taught me about Islam, because they are Muslims," said this Japanese woman."

Finally, because of curiosity and wanting to experience it with her own eyes, Hikari decided to move to Indonesia.

"Then I met Indonesian people on social media, I communicated with them for 1 year during the pandemic and gradually changed my mindset (about Islam)."

"Kenang Hikari tells the story of his introduction to Islam."

According to Hikari, Islamic philosophy became her savior during the pandemic. Her Muslim friends taught her to be more sincere when facing difficult times during the pandemic. "Just surrender everything to God. If it's meant to be, it won't go anywhere. So, you can't control it, just go through it sincerely," her friend said to Hikari. What convinced her to embrace Islam is that, in her opinion, the philosophy of a Muslim is in line with the values she has believed in since childhood.

"Indeed, the philosophy I have had since my childhood until now is similar to the philosophy of a Muslim. For example, things like not drinking alcohol or smoking."
