Dream - Muslims are waiting for the arrival of the day of Eid al-Adha, which will be coming soon. On the day of Sacrifice, all Muslims will perform the Eid al-Adha prayer in the morning together. Like Eid al-Fitr, the recommended acts on the day of Eid al-Adha have also been taught by the Prophet Muhammad. Sahabat Dream can perform them to increase their rewards. One of these acts is performing the sunnah bath of Eid al-Adha. Unlike the usual bathing activities you do every day, the sunnah bath of Eid al-Adha is performed by first reciting the intention for the sunnah bath of Eid al-Adha. Another difference is the timing, which is only done during Eid al-Adha.

However, before praying, Muslims are encouraged to perform the sunnah bath of Idul Adha. This recommendation is found in the book Hasyiyah al-Bajuri volume 1 by Sheikh Ibrahim bin Muhammad bin Ahmad al-Bajuri. "And (both) baths are two eids, namely Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha." (Ibrahim al-Bajuri. Hasyiyah al-Bajuri Volume 1. Dar al-Minhaj. 2016) This sunnah bath of Idul Adha is different from the regular bath that friends of Dream do every day. But there is a specific intention and it is definitely done in the month of Dhu al-Hijjah. More precisely, it starts in the middle of the night on the day of Eid al-Adha, the 10th of Dhu al-Hijjah. However, the sunnah bath of Idul Adha is preferably done after the time of dawn.

The intention itself is the most important thing before performing worship. This is what determines whether the worship is valid or not. The following is the recitation of the intention for performing the sunnah bath of Idul Adha in Arabic, Latin, and its meaning quoted from islam.nu.or.id:

1. Reading the Intention In starting the voluntary bath of Idul Adha, it is important to read the intention. Then, enter the bathroom by stepping with the left foot first, followed by the right foot. 2. Washing the Palms of the Hands The next step is to wash the palms of the hands three times with clean and flowing water to begin the voluntary bath of Idul Adha.

3. Cleaning Impurities on Body Parts Before sahabat Dream pours water on the body, clean any impurities on each body part until it is completely clean. Use running water to clean it. 4. Perform Wudu Then, perform wudu as sahabat Dream usually does when preparing to pray. Start by washing the hands and then washing the feet.

5. Rinsing Body Parts from the Right Side The next step is to rinse the body parts from the right side first, three times. Then continue with the body parts on the left side, three times. After that, you can continue bathing as usual using soap, shampoo, and brushing your teeth until clean. 6. Rinsing the Body The last step is to rinse the entire body using running water until clean. Start from the right side, then the left side. Finally, end with performing ablution.
