Dream - In this advanced era like now, the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is inevitable. Many problems can be solved with the help of artificial intelligence, including questions about religious issues.
The phenomenon of the widespread use of artificial intelligence has become one of the discussions in the 2023 National Conference of Alim Ulama Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) held at the Haji Pondok Gede Dormitory, Jakarta.
"(The issue) the second one is related to artificial intelligence, regarding the permissibility of asking AI, in this case, to be used as a guide or followed."

Munas Alim Ulama NU 2023 states that it is permissible to ask questions about religion to Artificial Intelligence. However, making AI's answers a guide to practice is considered forbidden.

The text "kata kiai yang akrab disapa Gus Hasan itu." translates to "the words of the kiai who is affectionately called Gus Hasan."
The decision was made based on several reasons, one of which is because the truth of AI is not yet guaranteed, although its knowledge may surpass that of humans.
"Although this AI may have intelligence that could possibly surpass humans, it cannot yet be used as an object to seek a fatwa because its truthfulness element still cannot be guaranteed."
The statement was made by the Secretary of the Syuriyah Board of the Nahdlatul Ulama Central Executive Board (PBNU).
According to Gus Hasan, this prohibition is also haunted by hallucinative answers, hallucinations. "Dependence on information received from AI," said Gus Hasan. In addition, AI is still produced by non-Muslims, causing its own bias in the answers presented.
"And while it is still being produced by non-Muslim digital companies," said the Supervisor of Pondok Pesantren Ash-Shiddiqiyah 3, Cilamaya, Karawang, West Java.
Komisi Bahtsul Masail Waqi'iyah Munas Alim Ulama NU 2023 also discusses the governance and benefits of dam and tamattu hajj. In this case, tamattu hajj must be slaughtered in the Haram Land, while its distribution is allowed in halal land, such as Indonesia.
In addition, the Commission also recommends that the government establish a Slaughterhouse (RPH) in Tanah Haram to validate the validity of the dam and tamattu' hajj.
