The recent heinous murder cases committed by the perpetrators have been widely discussed on the internet. Besides the shocking Vina Cirebon case in 2016, there was another gruesome murder case that was equally shocking. You may remember Aning or Arnita Mamonto, the perpetrators of the murder of a young girl in Tutuyan, East Bolaaang Mongondow Regency (Boltim), North Sulawesi in January 2024.

"Previously, Aning heartlessly took the life of an 8-year-old child who happened to be her nephew. Aning killed Tilfa because she wanted to possess the unfortunate child's jewelry. Currently, Aning is still detained in the Boltim Police Station, and her case will soon be transferred to the Kotamobagu Prosecutor's Office. However, her file is still in P19 status, so the Boltim Police Station is still completing it in order for Aning's case to be brought to trial soon."

In the meantime, Aning has demonstrated his action when killing Tilfa in a reconstruction. In the reconstruction, several new facts were finally revealed that will complete Aning's case file. The reconstruction was held by Polres Boltim in Tutuyan District from 10:30 to 11:30 WITA. There are five facts that were revealed from the reconstruction of the murder of an 8-year-old child committed by Aning.

Aditya also felt shocked and stressed when he saw his wife reconstructing the murder that took away the life of their nephew. During the daytime when the murder took place, Aditya said that he was working at the depot. Aditya deserves to be shocked and stressed because the victim's parents were very kind to his family. The victim even used to play with their child. However, he felt puzzled that his wife was capable of taking the life of their nephew. To redeem himself, Aditya plans to go to the victim's parents' house and apologize.

The reconstruction was held in front of the Boltim Police Station and not at the crime scene. The reason is due to security considerations during the reconstruction process. Moreover, the crime scene is very close to the victim's home. So, the reconstruction process was redirected to the Boltim Police Station. "After approximately 1 hour of reconstruction with 50 scenes, finally the reconstruction is completed and running smoothly as expected," said Boltim Police Chief AKBP Sugeng Setyo Budhi.

During the investigation and inquiry, the police found something in the murder case of Tilfa Azahra Mokoagow. The discovery is what made the police check Aning's mental state because his actions were considered abnormal. "When we find behavior that is outside of normalcy, we will request a Psychiatric Examination at Bhayangkara Hospital," said Kasat Reskrim Polres Boltim AKP Denny Tampenawas.

Denny said that the police are still investigating the involvement of other parties in this planned murder case in Boltim. Meanwhile, for the investigation, the Boltim Police asked several witnesses to provide statements. Denny mentioned that there are several witnesses who have already given statements, such as the owner of a gold shop, a cellphone shop, and also a bentor driver.

Losing a child forever in a tragic way has made the family extremely angry. They are demanding the perpetrator to be punished to the fullest extent. The victim's grandmother even requested for Aning to receive the death penalty. The family cried bitterly while accompanying the victim's body to the funeral after undergoing an autopsy conducted on Friday, January 19, 2024 at RS Bhayangkara Manado. The victim has now been buried in Boltim Regency.

"Sugeng Setyo Budi said that the perpetrator is charged with Article 340 of the Penal Code, Sub Article 338 of the Penal Code, and further Sub Article 365 paragraph (1), (3) of the Penal Code, with the heaviest penalty being death. 'The heaviest penalty is death or a minimum of 12 years in prison,' he said, accompanied by the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Boltim Police, AKP Denny Tampenanawas. The motive of the suspect in committing this heinous act was to target the victim's gold jewelry. After killing the victim, Aning seized the victim's gold jewelry. After that, he pushed the victim's body into a drain and went home as if nothing had happened. Even more cruelly, Aning even participated in the funeral prayer for the victim. Meanwhile, the intention to kill had been planned by Aning three days earlier. The suspect had prepared a large-sized kitchen knife that had been modified and sharpened."
