Dream - Satan is not visible to the naked eye. However, they surround humans to tempt them. In fact, the existence of Satan will also lead humans into sinful acts. It is such acts of Satan that make every human being must stay away from such creatures. Therefore, humans must be able to resist the disturbance and temptation of that cursed Satan. So, how can they do it? Especially when not all humans can see the presence of Satan.

Human beings are creatures created by Allah who have desires and the possibility to do good or evil. Meanwhile, jinn are creatures created by Allah from fire and have free will. Satan himself generally refers to jinn who have fallen from Allah's grace due to their disobedience. Satan's behavior is characterized by manipulative and treacherous nature.

The devil tries to influence humans in various ways, such as inciting them to commit sins, creating doubts, and misleading them from the right path. The devil can also mislead humans by imitating familiar voices or enticing them through thoughts that encourage them to commit sins. The hadith of Prophet Muhammad provides guidance on how to fight against the devil.

One of the famous hadiths is a hadith that teaches us to seek refuge in Allah from the influence of Satan. In this hadith, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) teaches that when someone recites verses from the Quran or prays, seeking Allah's protection from Satan, Allah will protect them from the evil influence of Satan. Additionally, Prophet Muhammad also teaches the importance of staying away from the temptations of Satan by following Allah's commands and avoiding His prohibitions.

By having good knowledge of religious teachings and practicing them, as well as striving to increase self-awareness of the evil influence of Satan, we can resist the influence of Satan and protect ourselves from the evil instigated by them.

There are six ways in which demons are said to be able to dangerously mislead humans. First, demons take advantage of humans' disbelief in the existence and power of God. By exploiting this doubt and uncertainty, demons encourage humans to ignore religious teachings, question their life's purpose, and distance themselves from virtue and truth.

Secondly, the devil uses human weaknesses, such as temptations and worldly desires, to mislead them. By enticing humans through material pleasures, lust, and greed, the devil tries to divert their attention from their true spiritual goals. Thirdly, the devil uses deceit and tricks to mislead humans.

In doing this, the devil may disguise himself as an angel or a good entity to deceive humans, misleading them by giving them false guidance and enlightenment. Fourth, the devil works through the formation and dissemination of negative thoughts and creates conflicts within humans. In tempting humans through provocation, hatred, and enmity, the devil urges humans to choose a path that deviates from goodness and love for others.

Fifth, the devil tries to influence humans through the use of illusions and magic. By manipulating human perception and creating unreal experiences, the devil seeks to deceive humans by giving them a false understanding of the world and themselves. Lastly, the devil may attempt to incite humans to engage in violent, criminal, and highly dangerous actions.

In encouraging humans to rebel against moral and ethical values, the devil influences humans to act destructively, harming others and themselves.

First, is the nature of pride. Satan is famous for his pride, which caused him to suffer God's punishment. Humans often get trapped in pride, feeling superior or more important than others, thus neglecting or belittling them. Second, is the nature of envy and jealousy. Satan envied humans, especially Prophet Adam and Eve.

Humans often feel dissatisfied with what others have and feel envious when others succeed or have something they desire. Thirdly, it is the nature of instigation. Satan is famous as an instigator who influences humans to commit sinful acts. Similarly, humans are often tempted to do wrong because of the bad influence of others.

Fourth, is the nature of lying. Satan is the father of all lies, and humans often spread webs of lies to gain benefits or avoid the consequences of their actions. Fifth, is the nature of being full of anger. Satan often goes into a rage due to his resentment towards Allah and humans. Humans are also prone to excessive anger, losing self-control, and hurting those around them.

He said, at one point, the donkey that the Prophet was riding stumbled and he said, 'May the devil be cursed.' The Prophet Muhammad then said, 'Do not say, "May the devil be cursed." Because if you say, "May the devil be cursed," then he becomes bigger and says, "I am victorious."

"With my strength, I defeated him. But if you say, "Bismillah", then he will shrink until he becomes as small as a fly." Through the above hadith, it shows that when the heart remembers Allah SWT, the devil will become small and defeated. However, if one does not remember Allah SWT, then the devil will become big and can overcome him."
