Dream - The case of Mirna Salihin's death continues to attract attention after Netflix released a documentary film titled Ice Cold: Murder, Coffee, and Jessica Wongso.
Many Oddities
The film reviews the case of the cyanide coffee that killed Mirna Salihin. However, the public found many anomalies after the film was released.
One of the things that the public is bringing up again is about the presence of Vietnamese coffee straws that Mirna Salihin drank.
"Lost Straw"
Because, when Jessica Wongso ordered Vietnam coffee, the waiter placed a straw on the table and had not put it into the undisturbed drink. However, when the waiter returned with the order, the straw was already in the coffee glass.
The judge is convinced that Jessica Wongso put cyanide through the straw because at that time Mirna had not yet arrived at the cafe. However, the straw, which should have been able to be used as evidence, suddenly disappeared.
"Thrown into the Sink"
The Public Prosecutor (JPU) in the case of Mirna's murder, Shandy Handika, recently revealed the fact of the existence of the straw. Shandy Handika said that the straw used by Mirna was not discarded by Jessica Wongso. However, the straw was discarded into the sink.
"There are people throwing it into the sink. This is the perception of the person (cafe waiter) who was there that day, right, the problem is what is the straw for coffee for? It's thrown away. There's no longer a straw, but it's seen on CCTV that someone threw it into the sink."

Shandy explained at that time no one thought that a coffee straw was an important item to reveal this case.

So, at that time, the people who were at the location thought that only Vietnamese coffee would become evidence. Shandy emphasized that the disposal of the straw was not intended to eliminate evidence, but purely due to ignorance.
