Dream - In addition to the 25 prophets that must be believed, there are prophets whose names we may rarely hear. These prophets also received revelations from Allah SWT, but they are not obligated to convey them to mankind. These prophets also have virtues and extraordinary stories, one of which is the story of Prophet Yusya (Joshua) alaihissalam when he conquered Baitul Maqdis. Prophet Yusya or Joshua (English) or Yehoshu (Hebrew) or Isho (Amharic) was appointed by Prophet Musa alaihissalam as his successor to preach the teachings of the Torah.

"Prophet Joshua approached the city around Asr time. Then he said to the sun, 'O Sun! You are fulfilling your duty and I am also fulfilling the duty from Allah SWT. So, O my Lord! Stop the sun!' And the sun stopped temporarily until Allah bestowed victory upon him." (HR. Muslim) After the fall of the Jericho fortress, Prophet Joshua and his troops attacked the city and destroyed everything in it, except for the house inhabited by Rahab and her family.

After a tremendous escape from the pursuit of Pharaoh's army, which resulted in a glorious victory, it seems that the people of Bani Israil were still bound by their desires and comfort. They opposed their own prophet and worshiped the golden statue they made. They even resisted going to war and entering Jerusalem, the land promised to them. They were afraid to seize the bull guarded by a large figure. The fear of Bani Israil is actually a manifestation of their love for the world, so they were reluctant to strive in the way of Allah SWT.

Allah punished the Children of Israel for their reluctance to obey His command by making them wander aimlessly for 40 years. A new generation of the Children of Israel emerged. Prophet Moses realized that he was already too old, and the long-awaited moments for his people to enter the promised land had arrived. Prophet Moses passed away before being able to enter Baitul Maqdis. However, through Allah's guidance, Prophet Joshua was appointed by Prophet Moses as the new leader of the Children of Israel who successfully occupied Jerusalem.

After receiving the trust from Prophet Musa, Prophet Yusya' bin Nun devised a strategy to penetrate Baitul Maqdis. He then sent two spies to the city's territory. Those two spies were almost caught by the Jericho army if not for a woman named Rahab who saved them. Rahab told them that the Jericho army was actually afraid of facing the Bani Israil because of their miraculous ability to cross the Red Sea. However, the miraculous ability referred to was the miracle of Allah for Prophet Musa to save his people from Pharaoh's army.

Hearing the arrival of Prophet Joshua's troops, the walls of Jericho were tightly closed. It is narrated in the Book of Joshua that Prophet Joshua was promised victory. He received instructions for his troops to surround the city walls for six days. Meanwhile, the priests were assigned to blow trumpets made of ram's horns. On the seventh day, the walls of the fortress crumbled, and the soldiers of Prophet Joshua successfully penetrated the gates of Jericho and occupied the Holy Temple.
