Dream - According to the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) and Muhammadiyah calendars, the month of Dzulhijjah falls on June 8, 2024. However, to determine the exact date of the 10th of Dzulhijjah, which is the day of the Eid al-Adha celebration, the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) will first conduct the isbat session. In addition, the month of Dzulhijjah is one of the special and noble months in Islam. Therefore, during this month, Muslims are encouraged to perform various acts of worship. For example, fasting, remembrance, and prayer.

Besides that, also practice the prayer for peace in life from the book Almu'jamul Kabir which was narrated by Imam Atthabrani: إلَهَ إلّا اللهُ عَدَدَ الدُّهُوْرِ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ عَدَدَ أَمْوَاجِ البُحُوْرِ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ عَدَدَ النَّبَاتِ وَالشَّجَرِ، لاَ إِلَه َإِلَّا اللهُ عَدَدَ لَمْحِ اْلعُيُوْنِ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ خيرٌ مِمَّا يَجْمَعُوْنَ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ مِنْ يَوْمِنَا هَذاَ إلِىَ يَوْمِ يُنْفَخُ فِي الصُّوْرِ Lailaha illah 'adadad duhur, lailaha illah 'adada amwajil buhur, lailalaha illah 'adadan nabati wasy syajar, lailaha illah 'adadal qothri wal mathor.

lailaha illah 'adada lamhil 'uyun, lalilaha illah khoirum mimma yajma'un, lailaha illah min yaumina hadza ila yaumi yumfakhu fisy syur. Artinya: "There is no god worthy of worship except Allah, as many as the number of moments, there is no god worthy of worship except Allah, as many as the number of ocean waves, there is no god worthy of worship except Allah, as many as the number of plants and trees, there is no god worthy of worship except Allah, as many as the number of drops of rain, there is no god worthy of worship except Allah, as many as the number of blinking eyes."

There is no god worthy of worship except Allah, better than what they gather. There is no god worthy of worship except Allah, starting from today until the day the trumpet of the Day of Judgment is blown.

The reason is because the position of the new moon of Dzulhijjah 1, which falls on June 8, 2024, already meets the criteria of imkanur rukyah. However, if we refer to the Indonesian Hijri calendar for 2024 published by the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag), the date of Eid al-Adha is still an estimate. The exact date still needs to wait for the isbat session conducted by Kemenag. Meanwhile, for Muhammadiyah, it has determined that Eid al-Adha will fall on June 17, 2024.

The following is stated in the Central Leadership Declaration of Muhammadiyah Number 1/MLM/I.0/2024 regarding the Calculation Results of Ramadan, Shawwal, and Dhu al-Hijjah 1445 H. In that declaration, Muhammadiyah Central Leadership determined that the 1st of Dhu al-Hijjah 1445 H falls on Saturday, June 8, 2024. Therefore, according to Muhammadiyah, Eid al-Adha falls on Monday, June 17, 2024.
