Income of Indonesian Migrant Workers in Brunei Darussalam

In his upload, Ihans did not hesitate to show his income as an Indonesian migrant worker. He even proudly displayed his balance and the money he withdrew directly through an ATM machine.

Standard Salary for Indonesian Migrant Workers

Ihans explained that the salary he receives is US$500, which when converted, is around 4 to 5 million Indonesian Rupiah. However, this salary amount is for TKI who fall into the category of ordinary workers or unskilled workers.

"So, in conclusion, guys, the average salary for Indonesian migrant workers in Brunei Darussalam is around $400-$500. Or when converted, it is around 4 to 5 million Indonesian Rupiah, but that is for unskilled workers or ordinary workers, guys," he explained.

It's different for professional workers who have different experiences or skills. Their income can reach 20 million Indonesian Rupiah for one performance.

"Because here, there are also those whose salary is up to $2000 or 20 million Indonesian Rupiah, guys. But that's for those who are experienced or truly skilled," he explained.
